Before we had even moved into our home we knew we wanted to have a large extension built on the back. We had a plan we drew which included a fairly large kitch, family/lng/dng, area, 3 good size bdrms with ensuite to master a laundry and a 2 car garage.
We contacted a few builders but we were immediately impressed by the way Ken Garrett understood what we wanted and could see our vision for the new home. His creative input into the project, and overall knowledge enabled it all to fall into place easily. The project planning and timing of materials and tradesman were excellent. Workmanship was of a high standard and the rubbish was taken away regularly, keeping the site clean.
While the renovations were underway we lived in the original part of the house, even when the back wall was knocked down and the roof retiled Ken and his tradesmen were as non-obtrusive as they could be and gave every effort to make sure we were as comfortable as possible. Any issues were addressed and resolved quickly and the project was completed exactly on time. Costs were as outlined in the contract and there were no hidden extras. The blending of the original house to the new is so good no-one can pick the extension.
We have a lot of passers by who comment on how good the house looks, especially those that knew it before the renovation. We are happy to highly recommend Garrett Builders as very professional and reliable who have a high quality of workmanship.

Ken Garrett and his team were fantastic! Our renovations done both inside and out were smoothly and efficiently co-ordinated and carried out with care and expertise! Work started when they said it would, and didn’t stop until the job was done, rain, hail or shine! All workers on the team, comprising of builders, plumbers, plasterers, electricians and an apprentice, were amazingly courteous and hard-working and we absolutely love our new rooms and alfresco area!
